Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi
Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi (Urdu: خواجه شمس الدين عظيمي; born 17 October 1927) is a Pakistani scholar in the field of spiritualism and Sufi master. He is the current head of the Azeemia Sufi order. He has written books on the subject of spirituality or Muraqaba and is the chief editor of the monthly Roohani Digest in Karachi, Pakistan. Moreover, he has established a chain of fifty-three Muraqaba halls worldwide.
Renowned Scholar and teacher in the metaphysical and spiritual field, Great Sufi Master Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi, a devoted and able student of Qalandar Baba Auliya, is the Patriarch, and the Patron In-Chief of Silsila-e-Azeemia (Azeemia Spiritual Order). He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Roohani Digest (Spiritual Digest), an Urdu magazine published monthly from Pakistan and distributed in about 15 countries.
Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi was born in India on October 17, 1927. In 1947 he moved with his family to Pakistan, where he was introduced into the Suhurwardia Sufi Order. Even earlier-on during his childhood, Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi was intrigued by metaphysics. Eventually this quest led him to the door steps of Qalandar Baba Auliya, who became his Spiritual Master. Mr. Azeemi spent 16 years under his guidance during which time he devoutly engaged the spiritual stages, practicing Sufi medication, devotional acts, and coming into self-awareness. He has written over 40 books, many having been translated into Arabic, Persian , English, Russian and other languages. His works have been considered and regarded by many educational institutions that include; Salford University in Manchester UK and Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan.
Based on K. S. Azeemi’s seminal book Color Therapy, Cracking the Code of Light, is not only an instructional guide to restore the natural balance in the soul and body, but an expanded version of the book Color Therapy.
It is stated on several occasions in the Holy Books of all religions that the foundation of this Universe is the Light of God. Based on this fact it is imperative that Man and all of his abilities be focused on one foundation… Light.
The light, heat, and color of vibrant rainbows waves create effective vibration on all living tissues. These frequencies create different effects on the tissues. Therefore, with the help of colors, every dis-ease inherited since the beginning of mankind can be treated. The Introduction of Color Therapy, as a therapeutic system based upon the treatment of physical, spiritual, and psychological problems, by using colors and colorful lights, is yet another feather in his cap. He has also applied this in a scientific manner, guising and supervising a Ph.D thesis on the subject of Chromopathy.
The International University of Colombo has conferred a Ph.D. degree on his work. In order to convey Baba Ji’s (as I call him) exact message, encompassing the treasure of supernatural revelation in medicinal field, I had to be fully aware of spiritual bylaws. Familiarity with the very subject was imperative. Understanding the driving force behind the publication and the characteristics of the author became inevitable. Terminology and words used in the book by K. S. Azeemi needed precise and untainted expression. Being a faithful and devoted disciple and a lowly pupil of Baba Ji, I have always loned to spread His message to the entire world. In a pursuit to achieve this goal, respected seniors of the Order played an illuminating role, from deciphering the hidden mystical directives to interpreting spiritual arguments, and from decoding the hidden universal formulas to simplifying the terminology used in the Color Therapy were the challenging tasks. Honestly… this mission could not be achieved, should these honored seniors of the Azeemia Order, such as Akhlaq Azeemi (Meditation Hall, Manchester, GB), and others weren’t there to support me complete this book with the leat possible imprecisions. Although I truly feel that I still have a great deal to learn myself, with the guidance of Baba Ji and other seniors of the Azeemia Order, I present “Cracking the Code of Light” comprised of the complete translation of His entire book Color Therapy, in deepest prayer that you find wellness and peace. God Almighty has provided this opportunity to satiate my thirst and I am honored to make an effort to bring you into the light of the precious research of my spiritual father and other scholars and Sufis. Most importantly, it is not merely a word to word translation as one might imagine, as it wouldn’t have served the greater purpose; here, you will find exact translation at most of the times, and updated information, where required. To cut the long but compulsory information short, I must conclude that I have not just translated K.S. Azeemi’s marvel, but made a push to unravel the buried heritage of our spiritually intelligent ancestors, to be passed on to future generations, without discrimination of color, creed, religion, and nationality
